We are looking for a seasoned professional to serve as a "sales engineer" for our M&A team, engaging directly with senior M&A Directors and executives. This role is closely aligned with business analysis and requires a strong research background. The ideal candidate will gather data, analyze financial reports to understand investment strategies, and research new accounts and funds, among other activities.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration & Account Management:

Work closely with our PE Account Directors at the Partner and Director levels to support key account management and strategic planning activities.

Research & Intelligence:

Conduct both regular and ad-hoc research on our priority PE accounts and their portfolio companies, including reviewing Pitchbook reports, conducting LinkedIn research, performing stakeholder analyses, tracking new hires and departures, and identifying new buying centers.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with the M&A RPO and assist in maintaining our repository of account management tools and artifacts.

Client Relationship Expansion:

Focus on strengthening and deepening relationships with existing clients rather than driving new business acquisition.

Requirements:

Research Experience: 5 years of experience Demonstrated expertise in conducting in-depth research is a must.

Sales Support Background: Previous experience in a sales support role is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in visual design (PowerPoint), PowerBI, and advanced Excel capabilities is preferred.

Communication: Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with senior-level professionals.
