Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 3-5 years of experience in Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform) plugin application development. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java application development and hands-on expertise building, maintaining, and enhancing Eclipse RCP plugin applications. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions for our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse RCP plugins and applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional software features.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Contribute to architecture and design discussions.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Java and Eclipse RCP development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3-5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.

Proven experience developing plugins using Eclipse RCP.

Strong knowledge of Java SE and object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with the Eclipse Plugin Development Environment (PDE).

Familiarity with UI frameworks (SWT, JFace).

Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with other Eclipse technologies (EMF, GEF, etc.).

Knowledge of build and dependency management tools (Maven, Gradle).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
