Business Operations Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Business Operations Analyst to support the full lifecycle of client projects within our professional services organization. In this role, you will partner with project managers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate project setup, financial alignment, and data integrity within our professional services automation (PSA) tools.
You’ll play a key role in enabling our teams to deliver exceptional client work by maintaining clean project data, resolving issues, and ensuring operational excellence behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Support internal teams throughout the project lifecycle, including project creation, maintenance, and extension activities within our systems
Assist project managers in accurately modeling projects within our professional services automation tools
Review statements of work (SOWs) and ensure project financials align appropriately
Process and implement project extensions within our systems based on written or verbal instructions from project leaders
Monitor and resolve project data quality issues, proactively identifying discrepancies or areas for improvement
Investigate and respond to internal customer inquiries regarding project resources, allocations, and financial details
Qualifications
2-5 years prior experience supporting project lifecycles in a professional services environment — management consulting experience is a plus
Strong understanding of project billing methods, including fixed fee and time & expense (T&E) models
Hands-on experience with professional services automation (PSA) tools — Workday PSA experience highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex details clearly
Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for getting to the root of issues
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality internal customer service
