HR Compliance and Operations Specialist
At CRG Costa Rica, we're hiring an HR Operations Specialist to support an exciting international consulting organization. This is a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
We're looking for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, delivering outstanding employee support, and driving operational excellence across multiple HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Support
Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries related to benefits, payroll, employment verification, policies, and HR procedures.
Manage and route HR cases through ServiceNow.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
Onboarding & HR Operations
Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including local and international employees.
Support new hire orientation sessions and benefits presentations.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Process employment documentation, background checks, and compliance requirements (I-9, E-Verify, Right to Work, etc.).
Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Process life events, open enrollment, and dependent verification.
Manage benefits billing and reconciliation with vendors and payroll.
Resolve employee benefits inquiries and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
International HR Support
Provide HR operational support for Costa Rica and UK employees.
Support Global Mobility initiatives.
Partner with local leadership to provide day-to-day HR support.
HR Systems & Projects
Generate Workday reports.
Support HR system testing and implementations.
Participate in HR projects, process improvements, acquisitions, and other operational initiatives.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
4+ years of experience in Human Resources or HR Operations.
Experience supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle, and HR administration.
Experience managing employee benefits is highly preferred.
Experience supporting US and Costa Rica HR processes.
Experience maintaining confidential employee records.
Technical Skills
Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/service management platforms.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with DocuSign is a plus.
