Senior Systems Engineer – Datacenter Cloud Services

CRG Solutions is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer – Datacenter Cloud Services to support the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of our client’s hybrid cloud and datacenter infrastructure.

This role requires deep technical expertise across public cloud, private cloud, operating systems, virtualization, storage, automation, and enterprise infrastructure. The Senior Systems Engineer will work as part of the Global IT Infrastructure Services team, supporting daily operations, resolving complex technical issues, and contributing to the technical strategy for hybrid cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and support hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

• Manage Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Linux, Hyper-V, Nutanix, SAN storage, and related enterprise technologies.

• Perform system upgrades, patching, monitoring, capacity management, and disaster recovery activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.

• Lead infrastructure changes and provide technical guidance during critical issues.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

• Develop automation and infrastructure orchestration solutions.

• Create and maintain PowerShell or Python scripts.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Ensure infrastructure solutions follow company standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, testing procedures, and operational documentation.

• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or datacenter services.

• Fluent English with advanced verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure and Windows Server.

• Strong Linux administration experience, preferably with SUSE, Red Hat, or RHEL.

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Nutanix and Hyper-V.

• Experience with SAN storage and enterprise database environments.

• Experience with automation or orchestration tools such as Azure DevOps, Puppet, or Ansible.

• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS.

• Experience supporting highly available and business-critical infrastructure.

• Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SAP environments.

• Certifications related to hybrid cloud infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Nutanix, or ITIL.

• Experience working with global and multicultural technology teams.

• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience.
